Youth Mission

Mission Statement

Throughout the Progressive Church body we strive to display a group of young people that are spirit filled, water-baptized examples of what true children of God should be. Our pastor, our youth department, and its staff work diligently with the young people to achieve and maintain this spiritual goal.

The Progressive Church’s National Youth Statement states that:

The Mission of the Young People Department
of The Progressive Church
is to prepare its youth to
Survive and Thrive both
Spiritually and Secularly in an Ever-Changing World!!

The young people are excited about lifting up the name of Jesus. The Lord has done so much for us that we can not tell it all in one sitting. When I say the young people can rejoice, they actually can rejoice and have fun doing it. Not just in church, but outside of the sanctuary as well. The Lord is really showing the young people here the importance of praise, worship, and living a lifestyle that is pleasing to God through prayer, the Word of God, and examples of other youth. And guess what? It can be done! Being young an saved is possible! Serving God is in order in this house and the youth are making efforts to do what it takes to make God known in the schools, homes, and the community!
