Men of The Word
"Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of
the Holy Ghost and wisdom,..."

The following traits characterize a strong Brotherhood coupled
with prayer, fasting, faith, and bathing daily in the WORD.
B-RAVE:
Men of Courage-- The WORD said: "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of
good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is
with thee whithersoever thou goest." (
Joshua
1:9 )
R-IGHTEOUS
:
The Brotherhood are Good Men ( Righteous Men)--The WORD
Said: "The steps of a good man (righteous man)
are ordered by the Lord: ..." (
Psalm
37:23 )
O-BEDIENT:
"If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the
good of the Land:" (
Isaiah
1:19 )
T-RUSTWORTHINESS:
Men that are faithful and honest in all their dealing and relationships. The
WORD said: "Moreover it is required in
stewards, that a man be found faithful." (
I
Corinthians 4:2 )
H-OLY:
Men of the WORD are HOLY Men. "But as
he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, BE YE HOLY; FOR I AM HOLY." (
I
Peter 1:15-16 )
E-ARNEST:
Serious minded Men, strong in purpose and in faith. The WORD said: "That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound
in the faith, in charity, in patience. Young men likewise exhort to be
soberminded." (
Titus
2:6 )
R-ESPONBILE:
Men that are dependable and are providers for the family. The WORD
said: "But if any provide not for his own, and
specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worst
than an infidel." (I
Timothy 5:8)
H-ONEST:
The Brotherhood are Men that are truthful, fair and upright. The WORD
said:
"Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you
seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, ..."

O-BILGATION:
Men that keep their promise--The WORD said:
"...He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not."(
Acts
6:3a)
O-PEN-MINDED:
Open to new ideas and having a teachable Spirit. Men that are led by the
Spirit. The WORD said: "Take my yoke upon
you, and learn of me; ..." (
Matthew
11:29a )
D-EDICATION:
Men that are set apart to be
used of God for his divine purpose. The WORD said: "I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is you reasonable service." (
Romans
12:1 )
