The Family Night Services
was aspired through a vision from our Pastor, Elder Jimmie C. Deas. The
purpose of the Family Night is to build the natural family spiritually in
order o build up the Church of God, therefore the focus of the Family Night
Services is to minister to the family by providing activities to strengthen
the natural family unit.
The family is the oldest
institution on earth which God ordained in the second chapter of Genesis
between male and female. Therefore, the family stands for the core of and is
the foundation of the Church and society. Our Pastor realized that the
family occupies a prominent place throughout the scripture; because of this
Christian families should live so that their family relationship depicts the
relationship between Christ and the Church. With this in mind, the vision of
our Pastor became a reality and now the ministry of the family focus is
addressed on the Wednesday night of each month.
The theme selected for
this ministry was: "Family First Under the Umbrella of God". The "Theme" and
special message of each service is a blessing to our local church, and now
we want to share with you what we have and are doing. We hope you will be
blessed as well for this is the purpose of our sharing them with you.
